Cassegrain Wines

Several years ago, Williams River Steel were approached by John Cassegrain of Cassegrain Wines, Port Macquarie, with the idea of building a new storage facility on their property.

Over the ensuing years the project grew in size as the company grew. With details finalised the 1,800sqm building would have the ability to house wine storage racks on a large scale in a climate controlled environment, and close to 1 million bottles of wine.

Using precast concrete panels with the company logo embossed into the panels at the front of the building, the storage facility stands almost 11m high with an overall clear span of 31m and an attached drive through awning at the front, to allow plenty of cover whilst loading wine pallets.
