Hotel Henry Rouse

Mid North Coast Developer and established client Steve McEvoy, along with his business partners, approached us to assist in the design and construction of a new hotel in the main street of Ballina, on the Northern NSW coast.

Our in-house design team were given the challenge of maximising building space on a corner block and generating the most practical way of constructing a double storey building, whilst retaining an open, modern and patron friendly atmosphere.

Firstly the existing Hotel Henry Rouse had to be demolished to make way for the new building, which uses precast concrete panels on all external and internal walls with parts of the external walls recessed as a design feature. Window openings were also varied to create interest in the design.

The building is now complete and fully operational with owners more than happy with the end result.
