IGA, Pottsville

With works now completed at the IGA supermarket and shopping centre at Pottsville, on the far north coast of NSW, locals and visitors can now enjoy the convencience of shopping in one centre.

The major development for the small coastal town has set the benchmark for modern buildings in the Pottsville central shopping area. The centre which had been in the design stages for the past 2 years now houses a Real Estate, Solicitor, Post Office and Laundromat alongside the IGA supermarket.

Featuring 150mm precast concrete spin up panels with structural steel for the roof and centre awning, careful planning was necessary for the construction stage due to location and the need to upgrade the entire footpath to meet Council regulations, creating as little disruption and inconvenience to the town centre as possible.

Feedback from locals has been positive with further growth in the area expected to continue.
