John Paul College -

Kindergarten & Covered Sports Roof

Following on from the works already completed at John Paul College, is the Kindergarten and Covered Sports Roof now finished and being enjoyed by students and teachers at the college.

The kindergarten is a purpose built project to suit the current increase in demand that the school is experiencing at the campus. Williams River Steel's contract included the construction of the portal frame, brick face and Colorbond Kindergarten building which was designed to specifically target 3-5 year olds internally. Our works consisted of concrete works, upgrading the electrical to the school area, retaining walls to accomodate the current overland flow, an 18m clear span curved structure over the existing basketball court with an amphitheatre to accomodate up to 400 children at any time, curved concrete seating platform for viewing and external works to suit the new design.

Williams River Steel has enjoyed their close relationship built with John Paul College and was able to provide them with a feasible engineering design to work in with their overall master plan for the college. Being able to provide these building solutions means we are building on time and on budget.
