Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club

The Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club, Commercial Centre and Bar/Lounge Facilities, situated on the harbour just 2 mins from the Newcastle CBD, is nearing the final stages of construction, with internal linings, tiling, doors & windows complete and the painting at around 90%. Currently the plumbers are on site finalising the fit out along with air conditioning mechanics and it is expected that the carpentry fit out will be finished mid November.

Around the bar & reception areas Epoxy flooring has been laid, roller shutters have been installed, with a stone benchtop in the bar to be a key feature of the bar area. Our contract includes external pavement, stainless steel awning, and sun louvres which we expect finished mid/late November and boundary fencing which is now in place.

Adding to the facility is a beer garden with turf and pavers that have been laid by the club members. Carpet & vinyl to the members areas has been laid in readiness of the job completion and furniture installation. Williams River Steel and Club Members look forward to handover which is expected to take place late November early December, whereupon members and guests can enjoy the new facitlities available to them.

This is not the last stage of development for the NCYC, with stage 2 in the pipeline. This stage will see the construction of restaurant and kitchen facilities and another 3 commercial office spaces, all of which on completion will be available for lease.
