National Build Plan Group
National Build Plan Group recently engaged Williams River Steel to supply and construct new buildings at Guyra for their client, Supreme Stock Feeds.
Completed Early November 2007, the new mill features state of the art equipment to enable supply to a rapidly growing market. Forming part of the mill is a 765sqm warehouse that houses a bagging line and a 67sqm cantilevered awning allowing for all weather loading of the finished products.
The warehouse interfaces neatly with the main mill tower which stands at 18m high so that the building appears to be one yet the manufacturing equipment, boiler and warehouse are in separate areas to ensure efficient processing of raw materials to packaging in a safe and hygienic manner.
A 43 sqm precast concrete panel building is used to store the raw materials prior to the product entering the mechanical grinder for processing. Precast concrete panels were used in this area to act as a retainer, where after the product is unloaded from the trucks, the panel walls will stand up to the pressure of the feed being pushed through into troughs heading to the grinder area. It is also easier to keep clean and maintain.
Williams River Steel has maintained an ongoing relationship with National Build Plan Group over the past several years which has secured us another contract in the Guyra area expected to start April 2008.
