The Scandinavian Cone Company is now Australia's largest producer of high quality ice cream waffle cones. The companies' plans to expand their business has come to fruition with the construction of a purpose built bakery at Murwillumbah in the Industry Central, business epicentre, located 22 mins south of the Gold Coast.

The premises will provide a production area and a warehouse three times the size of anything they have had previously,making it one of the most modern and efficient cone bakeries in the world.

Designed by Robert Gow Architect, in conjunction with developers "Tweed Central" & Williams River Steel, culminating in the design of the building, achieving an engineering standard, that WRS is renowned for, helping to create a cost effective product for their clients needs.

Construction commenced in August 2008 on the new 2000sqm warehouse/production facility that also houses 200 sqm of administration area, with Williams River Steel's contract complete and the project currently undergoing fit out of new machinery, ovens & pallet racking for occupation and production.
